We have it all…
Our magnificent estate includes a restored Georgian Villa dating to 1740 – home to Lord Belvedere or ‘The Wicked Earl’. The estate includes a beautiful Victorian Walled Garden featuring one of Ireland’s finest collections of rare and exotic plants. Your group will also love exploring our 18th Century parkland complete with Romantic Follies, including ‘The Jealous Wall’ which is the largest folly in Ireland. Visitors can also enjoy our four children’s play areas, picnic areas and on-site café.
Opening Hours
Our Gardens and Park are open all-year-round, with seasonal closing hours:
March & October
9.30am to 6.00pm Daily
April & September
9.30am to 7.00pm Daily
May, June, July & August
9.30am to 8.00pm
November, December, January & February
9.30am to 4.30pm Daily
In season, the House closes at 5pm. During low season months it closes at 4pm.
Please note: Last admission is ONE hour before stated closing time. Belvedere is closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and St Stephen’s Day and for special events/festivals.
Things to Note!
- Belvedere tours are self-guided. A 1 hour guided tour of the house is available to pre-booked groups, subject to availability.
- A driver/guide is free for groups of 20 plus.
- Audio Guides are available when exploring the house, gardens and park. Guides are available in English, German, French and Spanish, at no extra cost, and 1.5 to 2 hours should be allowed to complete the tour of the estate.
- Payment is to be made in full on the day. Cash, cheques and credit cards are accepted as are vouchers when pre-approved before arrival.
