Where Learning Comes to Life
Learning in action is learning that lasts.
Every year at Belvedere we welcome schools from across Ireland – and their learners and students enjoy a day packed full of fascinating facts, fun, discovery and adventure that they’ll remember for years to come. Make sure Belvedere is on YOUR school calendar this year….
Why Belvedere for Your School
History Alive
Nothing educates like a great story – and we have plenty to tell. Let your students explore our fascinating Georgian dating to 1740, learn about life in the ‘big house’ and hear the tale of ‘The Wicked Earl’ Lord Belvedere. These are stories of the divided classes, of the role of women, and of the values that shaped this period of history.
Walking in Nature
From our beautiful Victorian Walled Garden with its collection of rare and exotic plants, to the 18th Century parkland, Belvedere is nature at its finest. With our wide population of birds, animals and plant life, your students will learn about biodiversity and environmental sustainability the natural way.
There’s Always Time for Fun
Belvedere has four well-equipped play areas including a zip line, for plenty of outdoor activity and exercise.
