Is the estate wheelchair accessible and suitable for those with reduced mobility?
Yes. The estate pathways are largely comprised of smooth-surface tarmac trail – particularly close to the Visitor Centre, Belvedere House and the lakeshore. However, please note there are several hills of medium incline levels on the estate. The upper woodland area comprises earthen and fine gravel trail surfaces and therefore accessibility to this part of the estate may not be feasible for those with reduced levels of mobility.
The interior of Belvedere House is not currently suitable for wheelchair users owing to stairways and steps on entrance
