Join Kitty Scully for an informative and inspiring seasonal session on gardening through autumn. Discover simple ways to protect and nourish your soil, make the most of the season and keep your kitchen garden productive for longer.

Kitty Scully is an organic gardener and food-growing advocate from Co. Laois, with a lifelong passion for soil, food and organic growing.
With an MSc in Organic Horticulture, she has worked across a wide range of organic horticultural projects in Ireland, while travelling extensively to work and learn on organic farms around the world.


A natural communicator, Kitty writes, teaches and speaks regularly on organic growing and food, and is well known for co-presenting RTÉ’s ‘Home Grown’.
She is now General Manager of Organic Growers of Ireland, supporting and strengthening Ireland’s organic horticulture sector.

Celebrate the rich heritage of the Belvedere Apple at the Belvedere Food & Apple Festival, a wonderful day out for the whole family in the stunning surroundings of Belvedere House, Gardens & Park.

Discover a vibrant festival dedicated to one of Belvedere’s most treasured fruits, bringing together local food producers, artisan makers, and apple enthusiasts for a day of flavour, learning and family fun.

Artisan Food Market featuring local producers and delicious apple-inspired treats.

Live Cookery Demonstrations  – Celebrity Chef Catherine Fulvio will be in attendance for a cookery demo at 12noon. It’s a fantastic opportunity to watch culinary expertise in action and pick up tips and techniques.
