Belvedere is delighted to be back open on a gradual basis. We look forward to welcoming you. We have safety measures in place and are working within government guidelines. Please adhere to public health advice, use hand sanitizer at the entrance and exits, follow the one-way system, signage and direction from staff and maintain social distance as you visit. We have the following in place:

  • One way system through the courtyard – stay on the left
  • Signage to remind people to adhere to social distancing while visiting
  • Serviced bathrooms with limited access at any one time

Note: Last Admission 1 hour before stated closing time. All details are correct at time of publishing but can be subject to change. Please also note that Belvedere may close to the general public while staging large events. Please check website or telephone 044-9338960 in advance of travel.

Facilities

Free Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi internet access is available in the Courtyard area of the Visitor Centre.

Car Parking
Belvedere House Gardens & Park has ample FREE car parking facilities for visitors.

Coach Parking
Coach drop off points and parking are available for all pre-booked groups.

Bicycle Parking
There are bicycle parking facilities outside the entrance to the Visitor Centre. Note: Cycling is prohibited within the estate itself.

Restaurant
Belvedere House, Gardens & Park welcome Simply Irish Cafes and wish them all the best as they commence service from Friday October 22nd

The café facilities at Belvedere are open to visitors only. Indoor dining facilities are open at Belvedere. Current Covid-19 public health measures are in place - vaccine certificates and identification will be required for admission to café indoor dining. Outdoor seating and take-away also available.

Children’s Play Areas
Belvedere has 4 Children’s Play Areas that includes a 30metre Zipline and Lakeside Swings in the beautiful, serene and safe surroundings of 160 acres of undulating parkland.

Covid-19
Hand sanitiser in place at entrances and exits. One -way system in place through courtyard, coffee shop and house. Please adhere to signage and direction from staff.Masks are required in the courtyard, toilets, inside the café and throughout the house.

Belvedere House - Open daily from 10.30am – 5pm
Self-guided visit. Please adhere to social distancing guidelines and follow directional signage and the one-way system in place. Hand sanitising units at the entrance and exits. Masks are required throughout the house. Audio-guides not available at the moment in line with public health guidelines.

Tickets
Tickets can be purchased online and at reception. Purchasing tickets online, in advance speeds up the time at reception but is not mandatory. Online tickets are emailed to the customer and the ticket should be downloaded in advance of arrival. Visitors buying tickets at reception need to give details for contact tracing and make card / contactless payment.

Contact Tracing
To help to ensure a safe, controlled environment for our visitors, Belvedere House Gardens & Park will be adhering to all Government Guidelines. Visitors will be required to supply details for contact tracing purposes on entry.
During the registration process, you will also be asked for certain mandatory contact information, including your name and contact number.
In the event of an outbreak of COVID-19, Belvedere House Gardens & Park is obliged, under HSE guidelines, to share the following information with the HSE for contact tracing purposes:
•    your name
•    a telephone number
•    the date of your visit.
This information may be shared with the HSE for up to 30 days following your visit. Please note that no other information will be shared by Belvedere House Gardens & Park with the HSE. When we no longer need your personal data, we will securely delete or destroy your personal data.

Dogs
With 10km of trails to enjoy and explore dogs are welcome to visit Belvedere estate. They need to be on a lead / under control while they visit and owner’s must clean up after their dog. Dogs (excluding service dogs) are not permitted within the café area, house, walled garden and play areas.

Benches
Picnic benches at the lakeshore and throughout the estate. No barbeques or fires permitted. Seating outside centre is for café guests.

Swimming
Swimming is not permitted at the lakeshore at Belvedere.
