Westmeath County Council is happy to advise that Belvedere House, Gardens & Park is NOW OPEN to visitors from across Ireland and our season ticket holders.

All visitors are required to fully comply with HSE Guidance on protecting themselves and others from Covid-19 and with signage as erected. Belvedere is open to enjoy the woodland walks, lakeshore and the stunning views including the Jealous wall and Gothic Arch. Takeaway coffee is served from a hatch outside the Visitor Centre. Belvedere House will reopen shortly.
The Chairman of the Belvedere Committee, Mayor Billy Collentine welcomed the move as a sign that the country is emerging from this difficult period and that the public can enjoy this great facility.

Please adhere to public health advice, use hand sanitizer at the entrance and exits, follow the one-way system, signage and direction from staff and maintain social distance as you visit. Belvedere House Gardens & Park has ample FREE car parking facilities for visitors.
Coach drop off points and parking are available for all pre-booked groups.
There are bicycle parking facilities outside the entrance to the Visitor Centre. Note: Cycling is prohibited within the estate itself.

Belvedere Gift Shop is currently operated by CaToCa Fine Foods and Giftware and offers an exclusive range of clothing, gifts and memorabilia.
Children’s Play Areas
Belvedere has 4 Children’s Play Areas that includes a 30metre Zipline and Lakeside Swings in the beautiful, serene and safe surroundings of 160 acres of undulating parkland.
With 10km of trails to enjoy and explore dogs are welcome to visit Belvedere estate. They need to be on a lead / under control while they visit and owner’s must clean up after their dog. Dogs (excluding service dogs) are not permitted within the café area, house, walled garden and play areas.
