Fighting Cancer Triathlon

Fighting Cancer Triathlon - Formerly the Tri-to-Beat Cancer Triathlon

Fighting Cancer Triathlon (Tri-To-Beat Cancer) is an independent self-financed charity set up in 2001 as a way of raising critically needed funds to support the Cancer Clinical Research Trust at St. Vincent’s Hospital Dublin. When Ann Burns had the idea to set-up Tri-To-Beat-Cancer she had to learn how to swim first even whilst she was still undergoing chemotherapy treatment. It is this sort of determination that underpins what this event is all about.

The Fighting Cancer Triathlon  will be held on the grounds of Belvedere estate this Saturday 18th June starting at 10am. Hundreds of participants will take part in the Swim, Cycle and Run to raise funds for Cancer Research.

Newly elected Senator Professor John Crown will take part and Deca Iron Man Champion Gerry Duffy will compere the event.

Entry to Belvedere during the event is free for spectators and there may be some traffic restrictions on the avenue during the cycling part. Please obey stewards signals. To participate or donate www.fightingcancertriathlon.ie
