National Trails Day



Event Image Belvedere Nature Trail with Westmeath/Longford Irish Wildlife Trust.

 


National Trails Day

Sun 2nd October 2.30pm.

Meet in Belvedere's Visitor Centre.

Discover and Identify different types of Nature Activity  along a 3km lakeside trail through the ancient whispering trees of the Belvedere Woodland.

Enjoy the glorious leaf hues of Autumn with the glow of the  parkland Beech and Oak , home to rare species such as Red Squirrels, Pine Martens and Jays.

The volunteers from the Westmeath/Longford Irish Wildlife Trust will be leading the walk and will be able to assist along the way.

Wear suitable clothing and footwear for an outdoor forest walk in October.
